I feel so torn in posting this as I've just read that Yvonne's grandson has died.
I just wanted to share my Wedding Anniversary with all you Cuties. Today (it's Thursday 22nd January here in Australia 8.00am as I write this) 43 years ago Trevor and I got married in Adelaide. It was 96F that day - we were both very young and looking forward to our life together - never envisioned what our married life would bring. We had 3 children and now we have 7 grand-children and another one due next month. Life has been good. Love to you all, Chris
Trevor bought me a fridge magnet a couple of years ago which says "Grow old with me, the best is yet to come" and I pray with God's grace He will let us do that.

Happy Anniversary to you both! Hopefully you will never feel old just enjoy every moment as if it could be your last, so you will never have regrets with the time you have spent together, 3 children and 7 almost 8 grand children says you will enjoy the coming years as you watch them grow and have children and grandchildren of their own, God willing. Thanks for your good wishes. Sharks have left our beaches thankfully. It's only going to be about 26C (79F) which is just perfect. Still very high humidity at the moment 96% - yucky. I'm just about to go and have a shower. We've been out for our walk and I've done the washing and about to hang it out. Love Chris

Thanks Marg, yes, it's just heartbreaking. Mum and I are attending a funeral of one of our beloved parishioners tomorrow. John and Jill were inseparable, it's just heartbreaking when you know someone whose life has been very blessed and they lose their life partner. Love Chris

Hi Carolyn, congratulations to you too for your next wedding anniversary. Trev and i went to Scratchley's on the Newcastle foreshore. It's a beautiful restaurant overhanging the harbour. It's been very overcast here today and humid! We had a wonderful meal and sat and watched a massive ship being guided into the harbour by 4 tug ships. Love Chris

1. It's been so hot here - I had a shower only half an hour before we left and my hair was still wet when we arrived at the Restaurant - it took the whole drive in (20 mins) before I cooled down! For lunch I had Slow Cooked Lamb with a Spinach and Ricotta pastry parcel with a Rocket and Capsicum salad and then a Creme Brulee for dessert.
2. Trevor had Scallops with rice, a Caesar salad and a serve of Chips and 2 beers. I had one glass of Champagne.
3. One of fishing trawlers that had just come in with stacks of sea birds trailing it! They were throwing the offcuts off the back of the boat!
