I will be praying hard that the transplanted kidney will not be rejected and your body will heal quickly without any setbacks. So thankful for those people who lovingly donate their organs whether in this life or after a person has passed on. The gift of organs and various tissues save so many lives. Hope everyone reading this will discuss with their loved ones to let them know if you wish to be an organ donor upon your passing.

What wonderful news and my prayers are right there with you Sandra. I am an organ donor in the event of my death coming prior to my wearing them out. :)
I'm so grateful for those who let their loved ones know that their wishes are to donate. My little brother gave many organs upon his death and he was my hero.

Best of luck with every thing, Sandra. A girlfriend recently gave a kidney to her daughter. Mother is still tender, daughter is bouncing around as happy as Larry. :-)

You will be in my thoughts. 17 years ago I donated a kidney to my son and my grandson gave a kidney to his sister. Joke in the family is that half of us only have one kidney.
