Almost three years ago I bought my little embroidery machine.
I started a crazy quilt for both my girls one in pinks and one in purples. Life happened so I'm slow to complete...
I have finally completed the blocks, 12.5 inch size (15 for each quilt).
I have never made a quilt before, so I'm unsure of the sashing width. This picture shows a 2.5 inch width between the blocks.
What do you think, is it to wide or to narrow?
I hope to have them both done by Valentine's day.

Oh, my! I love your crazy quilt! So vibrant and cheerful looking. I think the width looks fine. Wish we could see the entire quilt top and what you have created in the centers of each block. Your girls will be so excited getting these for Valentine's day. What a gift of love!

You have a good idea for colors and fabrics that play well together! I think you have done a beautiful job! Your sashing looks good too. 2 1/2" is a very standard size for sashing. But there are no quilt police out there, so really, you can do what ever works for you. Your layout is fabulous, so no need to mess with perfection. :) Good job.

Thanks, when I did a layout with the purple blocks, I noticed I was two short, so I'm back to the embroidery machine making for more centers for the two quilts.
This weekend I'm doing stuff other than sewing but will be back at it during the week.
