These are the results of my experiments with applique with precut fabric. My real aim was to achieve the handstitched look, but this was not possible with other applique methods. I'm rather pleased with the results.

I always have a pincushion outline ready on my memory stick (thanks to Mops) so I turned these two test stitchouts into something useful.

Great result! I love the colours and the clean and (deceptively) simple shapes of the flowers. i have that outline on my USB stick as well - and a box filled with pincushions to prove I have used it time and again.

Love the idea of turning the test stitch outs into pincushions! Is the outline available to others? Sadly, I have only the small hoop 4x4 at the moment. Thanks!

Thank you! I have sent a Private Message with my email address. It is very sweet of you to send me the file for the pincushion outline. When I first got my machine I discovered DbC and loved it. I hope that it will return someday. There are so many, many talented people!
