Another Valentine doodah. Made in felt this time and very quick to stitch. I digitised this design for the first meeting of our Janome Club. There was a lady there who had had a 350E for Christmas and wanted to know what she could do with it. She was ecstatic when she made one of these!

It gave me a great buzz! Glad I'm not the only one who doesn't know what to call it.

How many have signed up for the club? You will learn a lot from one another. The doo-dad looks great

The club is new and only has about 100 members registered nationally. I think our local group will only be around 8. We meet in the shop and there isn't very much space!

I purchased my first Janome 9000 at a craft show (about 2000) and when I went to the shop to pick it up joined their Janome club. Was a wonderful experience and I learnt heaps. Missed going when I moved away. Glad to hear that they are going in the UK. I lived in Sydney Australia at the time and have moved to the Southern Highlands (about 2 hrs away). Your project is lovely Sue. It is wonderful to share your knowledge with others. Gives me great satisfaction as I am sure it does you also. We now have a small embroidery group near where I live and we meet once per month. Have a lot of new embroiderers and love to show them some of the alternate things our wonderful machines can do. eg. in the hoop, lace, not just embroidery. They are always amazed. Lynx

I wonder why Janome have taken so long to start a club here. It sounds as if it got you off to a great start!
