nope i cut them the shape they show you after you sew the first stitches then you trim them to fit .Would be great for scrapes hugs
could you explain a little more on how this quilt will come together? It is beautiful! will the white sheet stay behind all the blocks? or do you cut it out?

The different styles of stitches make this block really stand out. I'll have to look and see if my machine has these stitches on it. I'm a little confused. The outside border stitches prevent cutting the block out on the fabric edge. Are you planning on adding the next block up to the edge of the stitching? Or overlappping the border stitches?

Yes, I wondered the same thing. Will the square of blue prints be cut out with a border of white or whatever color the blue square is sewed in order to keep the pretty stitches on the edges.
on the next ones i won;t do the border stitches i just had to try them though lol ok
