Here is an update on my friend who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. She has had surgery and is home doing well. All indications are that they caught it very early so she has a very good chance of being a survivor. I so much appreciated all of your advice and support. We were managing to laugh and joke before she and her husband left for surgery. I also gave them several of Sue's snowmen to keep, share or give away as they saw fit. They immediately saw the potential of tossing them at each other and were laughing and talking about how much their grand children would enjoy them. So it has been a good start to a difficult and scary journey.
