Just having breakfast and I could hear the baby Kookaburra calling out - it's a cute gutteral chirping sound. Mum and Dad have been flying in and out all morning feeding and trying to encourage him/her to come out. It's raining here (8.00am as I write this) which is very welcome. the little bird is close to the opening which is always a good sign. I don't think it will be long before he/she leaves the comfort of the nest. Love Chris

Hi Dilceia, this bird is a native to Australia. It is a KOOKABURA which is a breed of the Kingfisher family. You can tame them, but most people don't. I love your Macaw he/she is stunning. Love Chris
