Thank you, Maria, you are too kind. The true artist, really, is Sue Box who has designed and digitized accurately those designs and almost all the other designs on her site. The more I stitch her designs out, the more I appreciate her work.
I haven't timed how long my machine has taken to stitch the lace edges. I have lowered the speed of my machine to the second lowest of five available. I presume it took more than three hours. Being free-standing lace, using only one colour, the border allowed me to have a lot of free time to do other things at home.
