For all the parents and grandparents -

I was just remembering something we did with Ben that was a good tool to have with us at all times, and I wanted to share it with you all. It was the Ben's Questions Game. I made little cardstock cards, about 8 to a page. On each one was a question to which he knew the answer - some very important info, and some for just plain fun. Where does Lana live? Where is Disneyland? Where is Disney World? What is the name of our Country? What is your phone number? What is Daddy's name? What do trees make? (good air) What is your favorite number? What movie has this line - "In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun" (He really loved the movie questions!) You get the idea. We kept a set of those in the car for those long rides over the mountain pass. We used them while we waited at restaurants. Waiting was really hard for him. It feels good to remember these things. <3 On the back of the cards I printed little pictures of his favorite things so they looked like playing cards...

What a great idea!!! And I'm glad to see you are sharing your precious memories with us. It does feel good to remember. And I know there are many more wonderful things that will come to mind as time passes. The pain & missing him doesn't go away, but the sweet memories come to the front & you can enjoy him over & over! Hugs to you!

What a great idea. I may use that with my grandchildren. They love to play things like that too. This is a such a sweet picture and I love hearing your memories of your precious Ben. Do you know how lucky he was to be loved so deeply and perfectly? I'm sure he is telling everyone in Heaven about his mommy.

This is wonderful, your sharing. Good for you and good for us. This game is also wonderful for those with Alz. for as long as they can remember things. We use to use this in Nursing Home , a game that Activities would use with the ones who could play and needed one on one activity./Lillian
