Does anyone else suffer with scam messages saying they are from PayPal? I have just received another one and the spelling and grammar are so bad, I actually had to smile๐Ÿ˜Š

PayPal are always very happy to receive such emails and they try to get back to where they are coming from. I had a very interesting phone call one night with someone from PP when I was having problems

Me too, in fact I think its more the question of 'who doesn't'. I usually send them on to PayPal spoof.

Last message: We've finished reviewing your unauthorized activity claim and you'll receive a refund for the transaction amount...It may take up to 5 business days...
I was so unhappy when I discovered stealing from my account.

Every time I THINK I may open a pay pal account, I see things like this, or read about some breach, etc. I think I'll just forget Pay Pal! But it IS a pain when a site only accepts PP. But you can use your credit card for that one purchase without an account. BUT PayPal will not accept a gift credit card...even if it's a VISA or MasterCard. Emb. Library will...thank you emb. Library!

I never received any and I do use pay pal every time I buy something. I think it is about the safest way to pay over the internet. I previously had my credit card information stolen when I had ordered an $8.00 cup and whoever got my information charged $1,000 on my account. It took awhile to get that one cleared up. If you get a message send it on to pay pal or contact them and let them know. Hugs, Mary

I get one now and then. My hubby has trained me that our name is not on it, then it is a scam. I never thought to send it to Paypal. Thanks for the tip.

Yes I did and I put it in junk. Then usually my web provider block it.
I use Juno.

My sister got one once. She knew it was a scam from the get go. Be careful folks Don't ever give out info if you did not call them and ask first. Suzanne

Occasionally, but PayPal is safer to use than using your credit card. Bad spelling and grammar usually give there plot away.

So far I never had one from PayPal, but get them at least once a week about almost every bank in the Netherlands, whether I have an account or not - and send them on to the special "valse email" addresses all banks seem to have.
And the grammar and spelling are always a give-away.

I get several almost daily and just delete them. I refuse to deal with them since I got ripped off 2 or 3 years ago.

Oh, yes...you are not alone...best thing to do is send them to PayPal scam alert...you can get the website information directly from the PayPal website...once I started forwarding them, I don't get many anymore...

I have never had a scam saying it was from Paypal. I use PayPal for almost every internet purchase I make. Much safer than using your credit card.
