Hi there all!I need little advice....thinking of trying fsl for the first time!

Unfortunately I ordered for sulky solvy and now I have a feeling this is too thin and light for fsl unless I use layers of it I guess!😕
What do you guys think? What would you recommend for fsl? Are sulky ultra solvy or fabri-solvy better choice?

It sounds like the Solvy you purchased is the topping type for plush fabrics or toweling...so...I believe you will need to get some heavier for the actual stabilizer...Pellon makes a good one...Wash B Gone...and I get mine at JoAnn's with a coupon...I prefer the woven type to the "plastic" clear type...good luck!

Thank you!I agree with you....the woven type must be definitely better for fsl like vilene!
Well I guess I should get some for better work!

Don't know if this is true for all the Wash Aways but our retailer has stressed over and over again to throw the water outside once you're finished with it. Never, never pour it down the drain because it coats the pipes. I toss my used water in the backyard. I just hope the flower bed flowers or the grass don't come up looking like plastic ones in the Spring and Summer. :)

I do the same - and think the same!
