FYI. My hubby is doing well. The surgeon thinks he will do much better now. He removed the stones, cyst, a pocket of bile and a LOT of scar tissue from previous surgeries. As long as he does not have any issues with bleeding or leakage, he should come home tomorrow afternoon. For any who has a tough time coming out of surgery, this anesthesgiologist did not use the typical gases used during surgeries, just IV drugs. For the first time ever, he was not horribly nauseous, drugged and shaking like a leaf when he was in Recovery. He is in a lot of pain, but the staff is wonderful and doing their best to keep ahead of the pain curve. Thank you all for your prayers and kind thoughts. I feel so much better (in spite of being awake since 3am) now that the surgery is over.
