Not sure if this is the right place. Look what I bought at the week-end. We own old cars and went to Toowoomba to a swap meet. 1750 sites, quite a large swap. I could not resist getting this music box. When you open the front top drawer it plays music, the wheel turns, the cotton reel spins, the needle part goes up and down and the foot treadle goes. Yes, there is heaps there to keep the women happy. (Not all car parts). Hugs Marg

What a find! Enjoy it to the max. My hubby has a 1971 Mustang so I understand about swap meets and car shows.

My first car was a 1967 Mustang. Wish I still had it.
We have a 1928 A Model Ford, a 1963 falcon convertible (was LH drive) and a 1965 Mustang Convertible (was LH drive). The falcon and the mustang are red, as we all know red cars go faster. hugs Marg
Marg, I don't know how true about red going faster, but I know the red Camaro's my sister had, sure attracted the cops!-lol- of course she was born with a heavy foot too-
ps forgot to say, my boyfriend sometimes picked me up in a 1965 Mustang. It was black top, over white body. I later married him...even though it was his sisters car-lol

I like your find AND your cup and saucer. I know you probably put it there for scale, but it is pretty.

Oh, Marg, your music box is lovely! Took me back - I learned to sew on my Grandmother's treadle machine.

I learned to sew on an old treadle machine too. An elderly neighbor lady taught me when I was just a youngster. If she could see the machines that I have now she would certainly be amazed.
We have Richard's grandmothers old singer treadle sewing machine. I have had it restored. hugs Marg
Do you still sew with it?
