This is my first time to request from you. I am in need of some help. My dh is a Viet Nam Vet and hosting the annual reunion this year. I would like to make the gents a small token to thank them for their service. This is the 2nd of the 8th Army Cavalry. I would appreciate help in digitizing this for me. My Topaz30 can do hus, pes, dst. I would like either a 4x4 or 5x7.

I am afraid it would be almost impossible to get a license to digitise these army logos/emblems. You might try. But without a written license no digitiser can help you.

I am thinking they still have the privilege of buying their unit's patch at a reasonable price?
How about something they can't easily purchase. The Army emblem is digittized by Dakota, and you could add textt such as, "still serving in my commu

Uncle Matt's Crib has a dog-tag like designs - he has a free one for Breast Cancer right now - you could perhaps put their unit and the date of the event on them?

How about a patriotic angel? The Angel of Light series by Sonia Showalter has a BEAUTIFUL Angel of the Patriot. Sews out great and everyone who sees her loves her. Hugs. Nan W

How about key fobs. My hubby was in the 2nd/11th Blackhorse. While I cannot use the Blackhorse stallion I could do something like embroidering "Blackhorse-Viet Nam (include dates the unit was in country) on a ribbon and sew it to a ribbon which could be sewn onto webbing for the fob. Fob hardware can be found fairly inexpensively on the internet.

Is it possible to make an item and leave room to put a picture of the emblem or would that be to close to the copyright?

I have done lots of things for my dad's wwII Army Division the Deadeyes. They love seeing their patch on lots of items. Dad loves his key fob. If you can make it free standing, the will love it. Add the words Thank You and that is the icing on the cake! What is their emblem?

Thank you and thank you Dad for his service, too... Even in prayers, I always thank them.
