Yoriko asked me for a fully lined (no raw edges inside) eyeglass case - and here it is.

It is strip and flip to give a braided effect. I think the effect is a lost a bit with the the very busy fabrics I chose. The back is the same.

Sue this is lovely you have done a brilliant job. How long did it take and is it fiddly to do. Sue

Very quick to do. The only fiddly bit is turning it through!

This is wonderful! I get the braided effect, but I think you're correct: if some of the fabrics were neutral, those theme fabrics would stand out more! But still a great eye glasses case!

Fabulous project, Sue. I was looking for items to make as door prizes for my quilt guild's show and this fits the bill perfectly!

I wish I had made one of these when I saw it - today I smashed my reading glasses whilst getting into the car (the door closed on them) on my way to the Endodontist! One arm has flown off and I can't find it, the other arm has sheared right off the corner on the right hand side. Thankfully I've got some of those spare ones from the Chemist. Not only will I have to get Root Canal Therapy and a new Crown, but also some new Specs! Aaaagghghghh! Love Chris
