I have finally finished something! It's a quilt for a one year old boy, whose Mommy was a good friend of Ben! She wanted a Pooh quilt, so I was able to use some of those wonderful built in designs on my Quartro D. I think it may be my best one yet! She loved it, and I got to rock him to sleep with the quilt draped over us! I now love stippling too!

Beautiful. I love the center. It reminds me of the way kids pile their stuffed animals or themselves on top of each other as they play. Fun.

Thank You, EVERYONE! You made me feel SOOO good about this quilt. The young friend of Ben, was a recipient of the Pregnancy Resource Center, an unexpected pregnancy. Since she was Ben's friend, I have taken her under my wing, kind of. She comes over with the baby, and I was teaching her how to sew/quilt. She was delighted with how I finished it. It does have lots of little flaws, but none most people would notice - whew! I did have a "bear of a time" finishing it. That seems to be the hardest thing for me now. Ben's birthday is the 20th, don't know how to make it through that day yet. Prayers needed. Much love to all my cutie sisters <3 You have helped me tremendously!

Wonderful in every way - colours, designs, the way you assembled the
patches and the great gesture to give it to someone who was such a
good friend of your dearest Ben. He would have loved that and there will not only Cuties thinking and praying for you and your family tomorrow
when Ben's birthday would be. The quilt is a symbolic gift also for him
(I would assume) and it covers so many thoughts and tears while you
are working through your sadness and now you give a piece of your heart to the little boy and his mom. What a good way to take these two under your wings now - Ben would be proud of you! Take care!
