Bib

Had to use my new snaps. Bib is not ITH, but done the old fashioned way. Used flannel for the back, towelling for the front, with a design that matches one of the prints on the flannel.

Thank you. And yes, they are so much easier than the metal ones I had, this works super simple and well.

Such a cute bib!! The snaps look like Kam snaps - I love mine - I feel like I can add a snap to anything so easily - I have a duvet cover that the opening was ties - I added snaps to it and it looks so much better. Hugs to you Martine!! Laura*

Thanks Laura. They are Kam snaps. Had seen them here and found a supplier, a German web shop, good service and nice price, low postage and no tax as it is EU. I think I'll use them a lot!

OH Mops! It is just adorable! And I love how you matched the designs to the fabric! Isn't that fun!

Thank you. As long as the shapes are as simple as these it is a piece of cake to come up with something quickly. For a bib that will be washed often I prefer bright, fun-looking, fast and easy. However, the tiny white loops after cutting the towelling had found their way all over the place - so it took quite some time after all :)

What a terrific project, Martine.....love the little train fabric!

Thank you. I got a couple of yards from my neighbour who had planned to make PJs for a grandchild, but she never sews. I loved the train as well, but the boat was faster... I might digitise some train as I have enough fabric left to line at least three dozen bibs and the boats might get a bit boring :)
