I went out today to do a bit of shopping but realised i was a bit low on fuel so pulled onto our local garage forcourt and sat in line ready to move into the next vacant space.
One became vacant and i was just about to move forward into it when the car behind me raced in front of me and cut me up to get there first.
Ok i have all day untouched and he may be in a hurry but he then gave me the finger and laughed at me. I moved into the next space and re fueled my little car and then joined the queue to pay . The "gentleman" who had cut me up was in front of me. He paid and then started to cuss out loud. as he realised that in his hurry he had filled his diesel car with petrol.
Oh dear.I said to him with a smile, what a shame. that was perhaps a case of more haste less speed. I paid my bill and walked out with a huge grin on my face. No I didn't give him the finger back. but satisfaction had been given in full.

Thank you for sharing!!!!!!!
So nice you held your cool all the way through....such a better way to life.
Have a great day.
It just makes me think----BEFORE I decide to give the finger: I MUST remember your experience and SMILE & WAVE & NOT extend the finger!!! You really got my attention and made me think. GOD bless you and keep you safe and continue your sense of humor.
what you are saying under your breath is another thing completely.
Hope he has, at least, learnt to check the nozzle before filling in future..
