I made some more angels for my MIL's angel tree, including one she can keep on the top of her tree. I stitched two of Sonia Showalter's Angel of Light short version and glued them together. I don't know why the picture turned, but she's standing on her wing tips. The top row of angels are my design. I can't remember where I got the other angels from.

I did the tree in neutral colors so she can display it all year. I will be sending her new angels every couple months, so she always has some to give away

I love the little heart in the angels. And Sonia's angel is wonderful. Good idea to glue two together. Maybe your mother will send a photo of her tree!

She did love the new angels. I gave them to her at the beginning of our cruise. I was worried that she'd give them all away before returned.

Beautiful angels! What a great idea to use the two of Sonia Showalter's Angel of Light short version glued together to make a 3D effect. I can imagine making a sheet skirt of organza or tulle... or using a silk flower (like a carnation) for a skirt. Thank you for sharing your wonderful work. You inspire me!
