One of my favorite Mug mats from San Francisco Stitch.

I used strips instead of a solid piece of fabric to give the illusion of Neapolitan Ice Cream.

Oh, I like this one too! I have some stripe fabric that would work on the backside , looks like Neapolitan.

toogie, you can just barely see the backing on this it includes a light blue stripe but works well with it.

Hi Tip22, did you sew the strips together, or was it a striped piece of fabric? I am always a not worried when I embroider over a seam, and am wondering how your machine coped with it? Love the mug-rug.

I sewed the strips together.Ironed the seams towards the darker color. Started with a fresh needle. If you'll look not much embroidery on the seams. I also slowed my machine down. I printed out a template, measured the width of the area, divided by 3 and

I DID make this design for my chocolate-loving coffee ladies. Sadly, they may love chocolate, but all are diabetic and must be oh, so careful.

As always, love to see your beautiful designs. To me, it makes me feel as if you are sharing this with me and all your friends.

Used to have a sewing/quilting/embroidery group meeting in my own sewing room. "Those were the days, my friend. We thoughts they'd never end. . . "
