Good morning Cuties, yesterday afternoon I started making my 3rd bag for my oldest friend Sue. She asked for a red and blue bag. I was going to finish it today, but as I write this 7.00am Friday morning I'm sitting in John and Deirdre's home up in the Hunter Valley. We left our home at 5.00am!!!!! Trev has already gone into the grapevines to organise the pick and help with the backpackers/grape-pickers who are out in the vines. Our host John has to return to Sydney urgently due to a family death. We are just devastated at the news - please pray for this wonderful family as they face the coming days. John and Deirdre are our oldest friends from Adelaide - John was our groomsman etc. and Trev his! Deirdre was supposed to be here but can't come up now. I am so sad!!!!!! God bless you all, spread the love. Love Chris

Thanks Karen, yes it is a real tragedy. We are actually staying up here tonight and will cook dinner for the 3 German backpackers who are staying here helping with the grape harvest. We will take them home to our place tomorrow afternoon and they can stay with us and then on Sunday we'll take them out sightseeing. They haven't seen Newcastle as yet! It's such a great town. Hi Ursula, yes, they got it all done. We haven't received much rain not like Queensland. Unfortunately there was a lot of waste due to rot. We had a lot of heavy rain earlier in the beginning of Feb which gave way to mould! Love Chris
