I put this owl together for some old designs I found on a disk with noname on it. I saw the eyes, and fortunately found the rest. The monogram center is from designsbyjuju. I must not of centered the design because it is an inch to the left. I then found the purchased canvas bag I stitched it on is totally off grain. I am figuring out what to do now, if you have any suggestions, I thought fabric to make new sides. I also learned that making the design as big as you can is not always best.

I'm impressed that you were able to find all its parts! It a fantastic owl stitchout! I sure don't see the inch at all. If you bought the bag and it's off grain and you already stitched on it, I don't think there is much you can do. You might try ironing on a stiff stabilizer on the back side.

That is sooo pretty! If you think it is off centered? (can't see that)..you might do a simple vertical border line down the "off side" a wee bit from that side of the owl, and fool the eye. Maybe you have a 'scroll' border design? Still very beautiful owl.

You could always embroider something down the side such a Life's a hoot or such (even a name) to help center! I love this!

Ii got those same monograms from JUJU. I love them. Not heavy or thick. They stitch up quickly and beautifully. The owl is just BEAUTIFUL. What a wonderful idea. Love this place. What a way to stay warm on a cold winter day in TheCommonwealth. God bless you.

Either way, it is stunning. I do hope you can find some way of correcting the 'inch'. I wouldn't worry too much about it though. Most people don't notice things like that. Love Chris
