I just wanted to share some happy news. Lucy was a feral cat I got at 3 months old who was hit by a car and had a broken pelvis in three places. She was a sweet girl, never scratched, hissed or growled no matter how much pain she was in.

We healed her and have been working with her for 9 months. She has nerve damage in her left rear leg. It drags and the knee does not bend. She gets long fine and when she runs she tucks that leg under her. She plays laying down when she gets tired.
Someone came the other day and is adopting her. YIPEE !! They saw past her leg and want her. I am so happy she is getting a forever home with some wonderful people. Yes I will miss her but our goal here is to get them forever homes with people who will love them .
We will be down to 7 cats from 30.... feels like a vacation for me... I am just so happy for Lucy!!
