Aren't you are just wonderful to help out with this new little one and your daughter at this time, it's always better when Mom is around. Things like this turn out better and easier with the right kind of help. Congrats on the little one to all.

I think it was wonderful that we were 2nd in your thoughts. Your daughter and grandchildren needed your full attention. It sounds like you had a grand time.

After all the time you are accustomed to being able to go on line and have friends around the world you touch base with regularly it would be shocking to be in an area with no internet or phone service. I do think it is best to not let the advances in technology run your life, they are there to help us, not rule us, and you made the right decision to go help out your daughter without hardly time to even think about your cutie family. I am so happy you were able to help out and have the blessing of spending time together. Sadly there are people who are totally consumed with the internet and would not have gone anywhere that they could not still be connected and those are the people who have let technology rule their lives and they have become slaves to it. Glad you have technology in the right order in your life. Now once she gets her internet connection you may want to look into SKYPE a free service where I am, and you could then do phone calls free but with your computers video picture, if you have that on your computer and you could then talk with Mom & Dad and see the little ones play while you talk and for Free! Love that part. Next best thing to being there. Technology has come a long way in the last 20+ years . (hugs) Pam
