Fabric question:

I purchased some fabric years ago at Walmart for $1 a yard on the pile they used to have of "who knows what". It is white and has squares marked with a selvage line every 22" or so to cut thru. It is fairly stiff but not thick and has a border inside the square of a different weave so it's just tone on tone difference. I have no idea what this is for, I thought maybe napkins but thought the fabric may be too stiff for that. It would be a large napkin?? It is square so not a pillowcase size. Any help with info would be appreciated.

Sounds like Teatowels if the Fabric is stiff.I would stick it in the Wash and see how it comes out. Hugs

I wondered if it would wash out soft. It's such a big square I though pillows when I bought it but the more I look at it, the more I think maybe napkins...thanks!

I purchased some teal blue that sounds the same as yours, but that I bought was square for decorative pillows.

That was my first thought when I purchased it but I wonder if it's too thin after washing. I guess I need to wash a square and see how it is. Thank you!!
