Grandchildren bring us so much joy..........how can we say no to any request they have? I have no idea lol. My hubs was out of town & found some Coca Cola Fleece fabric for me & I have to say I was quite happy about it since I was not having much luck finding much in our area. Our grandson recently turned 18 & although we were a wee bit late with this... it didn't seem to bother him @ all. they live 3 hours away from us so you can see the bottom pics with him as soon as they got back home. He was really quite happy with his gifts. I placed everything in the embroidered pillow case & he opened it & said ah a pillow & you could hear the disappointment in his voice & then he realized that inside the pillow case was not a pillow but the fleece blanket. We were in A MacDonalds restaurant @ the time (we met them half way) & I think everyone there heard him whoop! lol You can't tell but he is wearing the coca cola t-shirt we got him to bed lol

Brilliant job on these items Loralye. Our 9 year old grand-son loves Coca Cola - only been allowed to drink it recently. Me on the other hand prefer diet colas. Love Chris

yes that is our oldest daughter & yes it is very cold. His girlfriend is a shhhhh (Pepsi fan) lol so this irritates her lol lol lol just enough to make it fun for him but nothing serious

I can see by the pictures he really loves it. He will treasure it for years to come because his Grandmother made it for him. He is very good looking young man.(Is that your daughter with him?)

yes it is & yes I believe he will......he has called us to say that it is like having my arms wrapped around him in a warm embrace.........he makes me cry but in a good way

What a great story. That is wonderful that you can touch the heart of an 18 year old in such a way that your hugs keep him warm. And what a great husband you have that would look for the perfect fabric to pleas his grandson and his wife. Kudos to your family.

One place I go to find a special fabric design is www.equilter.com
Then click on fabrics then find the Search box and type in what you want. I did this for Cola and came up with many styles of the fabric. Hopes this helps in the future.
