My sewing room is ready! Newly decorated, new ceiling and a new floor (No more little threads on carpets) . The last 2 days I have been organising everything and now I am ready to embroider again!

It's beautiful and so well organized! Love the floor! It will probably never be this tidy ever again :) The light is wonderful. But... Where are the cat beds? Just love it!

Where are your hoops? Where are your rulers?
Hoops and rulers are hanging on a wall you just can ]' see next to the sewing machines.
No cats allowed They play with my sewing machines. I am afraid they get their paw stuck under a needle. But I have a plan to make a dog blanket so risky can be near me (she has a habit to lay under the desk!

Have you already talked to catering or pizza service? I assume you probably only will leave this beautiful place of work and life in order to get fresh fabric and threads :-) Oh, it is so lovely. You will enjoy yourself many times - Maria

wow i wish i had a space this big my sewing room is a small third bedroom and if two or more things ore out it looks like a bomb has hit it...lol. not really but i have to keep on it the room so small...have fun i your new room....soozie

I swapped my big bedroom for a small bedroom. Rather sleep in a small area than work in a small area. Does not matter how big you area you will still overflow into others. I have several drawers with fabrics under the beds in bedrooms!

Yes I label everything, Not only in my sewing room . Garage, cleaning drawers everything is labelled in my house.

Don't need that in general I tidy my room after each sewing session. Hate to go in when room gets messy. Only near Christmas when I get many orders it get out of hand but in January I always do a big clean.

Stunning Angelique. Looks like they did a good job on the ceiling too! It's such a lovely light and airy room with your little recessed window too. Also love how everything is labelled so you know just where to put things. My husband very rarely comes into my sewing room, and when he does he just sits on one of the chairs to have a chat!!! Now that you are back in action, I'd love to see the project that is sitting on your ironing board finished! Love Chris

Yes that has been waiting for the borders to be finished. Could not do that without my cutting table. I also have a big quilt waiting for the backing and borders. Finishing off time now!

Everything in it's place and all ready for you to sew up a storm! Have fun and enjoy! It looks wonderful and hope you have many years and all the creative energy to help you create to your hearts content. I am one who is green with envy of ANY person, who can sit at their machines at any given time and work on their various projects, as my body limits me and hopefully it will not always be this way but seeing your space so bright and sunny makes me long to sew even more. If this lasts too much longer, I will be having my husband somehow create a table for over our king sized waterbed so I can at least do something besides save these thousands of designs just praying for the day I can stitch them out! Please have double the fun to make up for my body. Enjoy fully, every moment you are able to work in your playroom!

Lovely space--I have white carpet in my sewing room and lots of 'stuff' on my tables. Usually organized but not when I am working on Homemaker Auction Fund raisers. Your clean space would make anyone want to sew---ALWAYS!!!
