This is the reason I couldn't test yesterday.....Jim was installing a new wider countertop on the cupboards behind my desk.....we had to unplug everything because we moved all the phone, modem and other electronics to my working side of the room and now the printer sits nicely on the new countertop.......no, it is not wide enough for the Bernina, boo hoo....Jim is now in the process of building the table for our other room, to house his keyboard and the bernina.....the 2nd pic is of the first way we had the cupboards and you can see the printer does not fit on the countertop....

Nice that you have the extra depth on the counter top,but isn't that going to make it inconvenient getting to your fabric in the cabinets below?

Hi LindaLee.......no, we checked it out before he installed it...he raised it a bit above the cupboards so there is no rubbing...I just have to bend a little more to get into them...

Whoohoo!. I'm so glad you are able to save your machine. It looks like you have lots more counter space to with the extension. Hmmm, now can Jim make the counters deeper? hehe

Kitty shelves are on other side of the room above my computer station.....although the kittens think Jim put this new countertop on for them to roam on.....
