UPDATE: Several years on I have finally received the pattern and magazine for the star table topper below. It appeared the advertisement for the magazine shown below with a photo of the topper does not contain the pattern it was actually in a previous issue No 11. A very kind lady across the other side of the country found this info out for me and she happened to have a copy of the magazine that contained the pattern for sale. She was very kind in sending it to me. Finally I will be able to make this in memory of the special person that requested it but passed away not long after asking.

Hi cuties, I am after a copy of a project from a magazine and wondering if any of you are able to assist. It is the star quilted runner in the pic below. I am happy to buy the magazine (Australian country craft and decorating volume 18 no 12) but am having trouble locating the back issue anywhere so now I am hoping one of you may be able to help.

the only other thing I can think of is maybe designing my own version using this one as inspiration. would that be breaching copyright?
I will pop back later to see if anyone has any ideas. Thanks

Thanks Sandy. Unfortunately that is a different magazine. I have tried eBay, etsy and also the magstore for back issues.

Have you checked whether or not you can purchased a copy online? Most mags now offer an emagazine. Good luck in your hunt. Hugs. Nan W

I don't think this is an original design , so there is no copy right issue. In quilting its finding the right name for something since everytime someone makes a version of a designs they rename it something else. IF you know someone the EQ program ,they could make a pattern for you. But I don't think it's that difficult to make on your own, it's just a six point star( six diamonds) and work from there. Good luck

Thanks. I have been garment making for years but am new to quilting and not tried diamonds yet. I just wanted to give credit for the inspiration and design but I can't even find the project Name only the excerpt above from a previous issue.
Still hunting otherwise I might try a version of my own
