You did a wonderful job on both of them. Maybe you could make them in other colors until you come across some more designs. They would look lovely in a group. :)

Thanks a lot :) I too wanted to make afew more of these. ...in varying size but I got suggestions from all that I better not try resizing with FSL!
But varying colours I think is a good idea :)

Yours are beautiful. I made the butterfly but how do you get yours to stand up? Mine fall over. What am I not doing right? Please help. Thank you.

Did you wash out too much of your stabilizer? If your lace has turned soft it wont stand!
If this is the reason then you just need to stiffen it up again! PM me and maybe I can give you a solution :)
Thanks a lot!

this one stands because it is double sided, the others are singles
Thank you both. I think I washed out too much WSS, I'll mix some up and coat the back. I only made single sided. I'll make the double sides this weekend.

This pic I am putting up for Smokey12...
point 1 was to make sure you keep a little of that WSS while rinsing to keep the lace stiff....and if you have already rinsed it soft then brush on the back side with some liquid solvy made by dissolving scraps of WSS in water!( this should act like starch)
Point 2 is that stitch up joining the ends of the wings of the butterfly....so that it stands!
Let us know if it works for you :)

Thank you so much. I'll add a coat of WSS and stitch the top as your picture shows. Yours are really gorgeous. Thank you again for your help. Hugs and flower.
