A gift for a friend. It just was not my day as I had problems with both items, totally my fault. Glasses case from Kim (dragonflyer). Makeup bag from Pickle Pie and design from Urban Threads.

Forgot to mention that the bag and glass case are both fully lined with no raw edges.

Both look pretty :)....what problems did you get?
Have you used denim here or is it just cotton?
Thanks for sharing!

Problems too numerous to mention. I was rushing and not feeling well, so my fault. The material is a very thin denim, which is normally a delight to sew. Thank you for your post.

Just beautiful Sarah, don't you just love in the hoop things? Love Chris (by the way, lucky Sue)

I certainly did not love ITH today. I have a stinking cold at the moment and was just not concentrating. Thank you for looking Chris.

Both are lovely, Sarah! I haven't tried using denim on my zippered bags, but I will now. I pray you will feel better. Hugs, Joyce

Thank you Jo. I have found that a thicker denim is almost impossible to turn and you nearly break your fingers!!

I'm so sorry you had such a miserable day with a cold and nothing going right. But you did make a lovely eye glass case and bag. I hope you feel better very soon.
