A quick note to wish all Cuties and Miss V. a very special and Happy Easter!!

Our basement (and my sewing room) has been totally gutted. No furniture, no bathroom, no books or bookcases, no fireplace and no carpet. We have an awful lot of stuff in boxes around us and some furniture that the movers did not want to take. Everything is in chaos! On Tuesday they will come to rip up concrete and several ornamental cedar trees to put in the new water line. We are not sure when the dry wall team will come. then everything will have to be finished before they can redo the concrete as we are not supposed to drive on it for a couple of weeks . I am just very tired of people going through our stuff to pack and assess. I am feeling invaded! They even had to empty some of the deepfreeze in order to move it onto a dolly. Thank goodness we still have that though... I need to get my Easter ham out! :-)
Well, enjoy your holiday everyone ! We are going to rest up and feast and get ready for the next chapter.
Hugs, Nadyne

My heart goes out to you. I understand all too well about strangers going through your stuff. I do hope it is all done in a timely fashion with NO surprises.

Bless your heart. I hope you have a good sense of humor in dealing with all this stress, upheaval and invasion of privacy. Prayers to help you get through.

A very happy Easter to you too Nadyne. I do hope that all of the upheaval will soon be over. I hope the driveway dries quickly for you. Two weeks is a while not to be able to drive on it. Good luck with all of it, love Chris
