In my post a couple weeks ago, I told Leaha (I think) that 3 of my girls were going to be in a beauty pageant, to raise money, for a nursing home. Well, forgive me for bragging a little, -lol-but ALL 3 placed! Nora and Lanie got second places, in their division/age group, and Avery got first runner up (yeah!) to the queen, in hers !- SIL took photos and missed the tops of the big girls heads. I tried to send the photos from the newspaper but it keeps saying error. My niece works for the newspaper and sent me the digital files from the paper. It was a really good photo of Avery with her group too.EDITED-to add more photos #7 looks like me as a child #8 Lanie's hair fell because of the rain, humidity.#9 Avery's group had to come back on stage. The judges were undecided between the first runner up and the Queen ! Avery had to enter the stage from a different entrance, so the girls had to make room for her here, to get back in order of numbers.So Avery got 1st runner up to Queen and tall girl in next photo in mint green was Queen.
