Nothing to do with embroidery. Playing with my new toy, which my husband kindly bought for me. Lots to learn!

Of course I had to sew an organiser so I won't lose all the small parts.

Is that the Brother Scan N Cut? I've been looking at them, and undecided..... How do you like it? What is the "learning curve" like?

Yes it is a scan and cut. Like it very much but I did a lot of research beforehand. There are some very good video tutorials around just google it. There are minor irritations: The mats are not sticky for very long. but there are ways to get around that. The cutting is excellent. There are some lovely free vsg cut files and as long as you have some computer skills ( You really do not need many) you can easily change then into the right format using the brother's scan and cut canvas. I have not tried fabric yet!!!

Come back and let us know how it works on fabric... I want to use it for appliques mostly. What a wonderful gift from your hubs!

This is so tempting, you cuts look nice and crisp. It is stand alone isn't it? Or can it be hooked to your computer?

Had a look at the them at the Rand Easter show today! The sky is the limit of what you can do! Lots of ideas and possibilities ... not enough time to do all the things we love ..
