This is a top I made between thunderstorms yesterday. The design is by Cutie Vicki or Basketkase. I added some bling to it. Also made some handkerchiefs and one of them here in pic 3 is a rose design from here on Cute. I get teary eyed a lot so these work better for me.

These are all very pretty. Did the handkerchief, love the lace trim on it. Lucky you for the rain, it was predicted for our area and we didn't get a drop.

I love making hankies. My eyes water also--from the outside corners and sometimes runs down my cheek. I wipe until They get sore, sometimes. Not an everyday thing so I wonder if it's some sort of allergy. ZI never buy hankies anymore. Very pretty rosebud.

Mine is not allergies I cry a lot praying. Much easier to have the cloth to catch the river of life that flows out of me. That is the way I look at it anyways. I never see hankies around anymore other than bandannas. So it was fun making.

Beautiful work on the blouse and hankie. You brought back good memories of growing up with the ladies sticking a hankie in their sleeve for all of those time they needed one to clean off faces.

Thanks Karen I am so glad to hear your hubby better. More earth friendly using hank can wash. Those little thin kleenex and I got those too are gone in no time.

Great job on all these projects, Mary.......I love the bling!! We too were dodging Tstorms for about 6 hours and our tornado siren went off 3 times...we had Tornados all around us, we took kitties down to the basement with us for 1/2 hour, that is the first time since we have lived here that we felt threatened........

Thanks Vicki.
We had static electricity from lightning zap out our gate in driveway and radio dog fence. Ouch on pocket but glad it was not a direct hit. Lightening is very dangerous. Glad you got basement, we do also.

Bless your heart it does resemble a turtle. But Vicki does have some style with her designs so it could be a mod one. I can say it caught my eye, stitched nice and I like it. Hugs back.
