HELP!!!!!!

Hi Cuties, does anyone have a Brother Quattro amongst us? I've got one and need to ask a question. My Husqvarna is in having a service and I know how to do a fix stitch on it so that I can just put the fabric on top without hooping. BUT - I have no idea how to do it on the Brother - I've checked the book and there is a SET stitch but it won't show up on my machine!!!!!!!!!! Too long to ring and speak to someone over the phone, so I thought someone on here would know how to do it. Love Chris

Don't have one, Chris, but there is a whole Yahoo group of Quattro users and I bet they can tell you in a jiffy.

Hi Grace, I spent ages looking for the right terminology and finally found a post from someone years ago in a Yahoo group. It is in the Embroidery Edit section - when you push the 'sewing' icon up comes images of Rotate, Badge, Flower in square, Spool and Snowman symbols. You press the FLOWER IN THE SQUARE and voila up comes the basting stitch around the design I want to do. Perseverance paid off! Love Chris

Hi Chris, If you go to embroidery garden.com you will find that she has a free basting stitch for the brother pes machines. Hope this helps.

Thanks Lorraine, I've got free basting designs, but I needed to find where it was on my machine. It's an inbuilt design and finally found it under the Embroidery Edit option on the LCD screen. Love Chris
