Here are the first 2 Santa Coasters for my annual ladies Christmas luncheon this year. These are from Veronika's site Amazing Designs. Unfortunately on both of these coasters I've had to put further stitching in around the left forearm and down the front of his suit. I am in the middle of doing the next one, so will have to wait and see if it happens again. Love Chris

Lovely Chris. I still have not completed sewing from last Christmas. I am always amazed at your planning so far ahead. Well far ahead for me. Hope the rest go well and are problem free

They look great Chris. See a difference in the right hand on ea. also in closeup see where you have had to add the stitches. You need to let someone know so the designs can be fixed. Veronika wouldn't want anything that was not right out there/Lillian

That's because I used different thread on both. I didn't like the lighter one on the right hand side picture, so decided to use a darker thread. I've written to Veronika to let her know. I've just put the third one up and it's got the same problem. Love Chris

Well done with the fix up. But as Lillian has said you need to let Veronica know so it can be fixed if the next one is not right. Hugs Shirley

Here is the 3rd one just finished in the Hoop. You can see where the stitch issue is on the left hand arm (looking at the picture) and along the side of his tummy. Love Chris
P.S. I've written to Veronika and hope she will help me out.

Sorry you had to add stitches to fix the design. It hard to know when looking at design to buy which one's will actually stitch out correctly. You did do a good job at fix it.

What format did you use? I have that design as well. I could try to find the time to stitch it out in the next day or two.

I used PES with my Brother Quattro sewn on felt. All 3 coasters have the same issue. It may work better on fabric instead of felt. Love Chris

I am so impressed you have started your sewing already. I think I am only 4 or 5 Christmases behind right now. :)

Ha ha ha! I only do it early so that I can concentrate on other things - like I should be studying my Italian whilst we are on Term break! Love Chris

They are fabulous coasters! I sometimes have that happen with a design even if they look fine in my software. If I'm in a hurry, I usually just go back into my software and edit the stitches to solve the problem. But it is better if the design gets fixed. After doing three of these, it doesn't sound like it's a machine problem.

I'm not sure what you mean Joan. As I've done this on my Brother machine I can increase the design by increments but don't know what they are. I just keep pushing a pic on the screen till I hear it stop beeping then I know I can't make it any bigger. Love Chris
No just count to five and stop. It should work. I hope
