A rag doll and crib for my grandaughter, I used r-form for the crib which I bought along with some broidery anglais, the rest of the fabric was scraps from my bit bag and bits that were given. Theres enough r-form left to make a bag for me, but first the doll, named Dora needs some clothes to wear in the day. Sorry about my holey slippers they are comfy!

There is a story to tell about those shoes....
Thank you they are cute aren't they. Its all your fault you know if you hadn't made your handbags I wouldn't have been inspired to make the crib, when my r-form arrived it was perfect for the job. Soft but would bounce back if it got fallen on, Love
and the story is I lost them in a village hall car park and 2 cuties happened to find them, and as they didn't fit Sue she gave them back!! Jo

When I opened the r--form I thought of a crib as it wouldn't get damaged if anyone fell on it. there must be lots of uses for it, I'm watching for other ideas on Cute, Jo

What a cute doll and crib! Don't feel bad about the holey slippers, mine get like that also. Did you embroider on yours?

I just love your set! The little blanket or quilt is adorable, but the doll and HER slippers are precious. How did you make her hair and attach it?

The yarn is an unpicked cardigan, which makes it crinkly. I knitted a cap and attached it then knotted lengths of yarn to it. Much easier than it sounds.
Well, she is adorable with a full head of hair! I once made my daughter a bed similar, with a hood on one end like a bassinet. It was made from a Cabbage Patch pattern. We still have it. I also made the quilt to match, but plain, not as pretty as yours.

The rag doll was from a book I bought from Amazon on rag dolls and the crib I made up as I went along using r-form.
