I have a little tip for you who are doing or want to FRINGE designs. It's not my original idea and I do apologize for forgetting where I read it.
. If you choose to clip the bobbin threads to make it fringe, please slip a piece of stabilizer under the hoop BEFORE you stitch the fringe color. This will protect the previous satin stitching so that you don’t clip those stitches by mistake.

Excellent tip!
I usually change the bobbin to a different colour, but this will be faster.

When I did a fringe at class the teacher had us swap our regular bobbin thread to water soluble thread.
This sounds like an excellent idea.
