Hi there Cuties!
I just loved the doilies Lidia made recently by joining a small lace design!
I just had to try it :)
I used another design from Sue box....combined them as Lidia had explained in the software and my machine did the rest (by the way this was the max number of stitches I have ever done so far in a single design)
I am looking forward to trying more of these....thanks Lidia for the inspiration!
P.S: unfortunately cant do them bigger as I am limited to a 5×7 hoop and this is the max I could do!

Just a thought that would likely work to make even larger doilies but within your 5X7 limitation would be to now hoop a sticky stabilizer and take the completed doily and once you have basted out the next design border lay the completed doily so that it barely overlaps so that they will then be joined at the outer tips of the flowers, or another way would be to make as many of these 5x7 squares as you needed and then to join them with a zig zag stitch at those outer tips of the flowers on the design. Love the chocolate color you used for these and can not speak highly enough about the Sue box designs of which she has a flash sale going for a couple of days on some of the designs from her 3D lace collection and the designs available for just a few dollars are great building blocks to create to our hearts content.

Yes there are other ways we can make a bigger one....but I meant all in 1 go has its limited size :)

Oh wow! Fatima this is just gorgeous. I'm so glad you are encouraged to try something new from the ladies on here. It's always wonderful to see all the things that can be made. So lovely.... I like this design very much...it would look nice as a border on a tray cloth but that is a lot of work. Lidia has indeed inspired us and she is very kind to have shown us how to join the pieces. I only have a 4x4 hoop...guess it is impossible to stitch in one hooping. Hope to see more of your creativity. Hugs...Shyam
