Here is the quilt i am practicing on ,i asked for help finding this link and many of you answered and help me THANK_YOU!!!I wanted to try putting quilt batt in it instead of using flannel on the back.Not so nice :(:(I will go back to flannel.It made my borders look sick lol

I like the borders! They look kind of fluffy and slightly gathered giving it a nice soft appearance. That was a great stitch that you used. I'll have to see if my machine has it.

Carolyn, did you carry the batting all the way to the edge of border? From the bottom picture it seems that it is cut a bit past the quilt body. If you will leave the batting an inch past the width of your border, then carefully square the batting up to the exact width of the finished border it will fill it up and take care of what you are calling "sick". ;)
