I wanted one and still might get one -- one day...however, the down side is they are not very useful for hoodies and other items like that (things I want to be able to do) as the arm still must be able to move so anything under the machine must have enough space to have the arm fully extend without disturbing the hooped item.

I bought one from my Brother dealer a few years ago and haven't used it that much. It's very heavy and your table needs to be able to support it and your heavy machine. It does raise your machine up quite high and I found it no longer usable at that height since I have the standard sewing table height. If I can raise my chair to sew on the machine comfortably, my feet don't touch the floor and I have to put the sewing pedal on a box -- the bane of short people. lol I checked the riser box and it's called "Machine Raiser -- P4660885".
