congratulations Joshua, my son is on his 2nd year apprenticeship + 1st year degree with Ford Motor company here in Dunton Essex in the UK, he is Doing a mechanical electrical course, just to add I also work at Fords at the Dagenham Plant here in the UK, I work on the puma engine line, I work with many men and being one of only a few women there i'm quite unique lol

Sarah this is great news. What trade will he be involved with. Although we are sugarcane farmers now my hubby did an apprenticeship in panel beating. Worked with that trade for 10 years. Now he can put his hand to anything mechanical and still uses his trade with our hobby, that is restoring old cars and enjoying driving them. Hugs Marg

This is wonderful news to hear about Josh Sarah. Crow all you want to. I have Grandsons and know what it'slike to be proud of them. Joshua has had a hard time but he is a go get'er and will do will I am sure. Keep keeing us informed about how he is doing. Alittle Hiatory. My \grand father worked for Henry Ford when he started producing cars. Grand father was in WWI. At Ford he was doing well back in the days when shirts were a dime. I think he made a little over a dollar a day. He bought stock in Ford through the yrs and was still drawing dividends on some of the stock when he was in his 80s. He later sold all his stock and bought land in Fl. He's been gone over 30 yrs but was quite a character/Lillian

It sounds great, but I'm not sure what apprenticeship means ? Is this a sort of training in the company itselves ?
