To all our Australian and New Zealand members I want to take this opportunity to wish you all a memorable ANZAC DAY. Been up since 5.00am watching the Dawn Services - tears streaming down my face as I watch the services all round Australia and waiting to see the big one at ANZAC COVE at Gallipoli in Turkey. It will be very moving. God bless all servicemen and women wherever they serve - Lest we forget!
Love and blessings to all Chris
1. This is a picture of Anzac Cove which Trev and I visited 7 years ago - where all of our Australian and New Zealand men died. It is just so peaceful nowadays.
"And so now every April, I sit on my porch, and I watch the parades pass before me.
And I see my old comrades, how proudly they march, reviving old dreams of past glories
And the old men march slowly, old bones stiff and sore. They're tired old heroes from a forgotten war
And the young people ask, what are they marching for? And I ask myself the same question."
We finished the day with a display of our 3 old cars with our local car club at the race course. I think I will sleep well to-night. Hugs Marg
