Was at Amy's all day yesterday helping her with 6 loads of washing - hanging it out and trying to find line space!!!!
We went out and bought Maisie a little heart name tag to go on her purple collar. The heart is hot pink!
Maisie is just so adorable - she is a Groodle (a cross between a Golden Retriever and a Poodle). Will grow to about 45-50cm high!
I'll tell Mum in about her an hour's time about her. Off to Church this morning. Love Chris

Hi Caroline, Ophelie hasn't put her down since she arrived on Friday. She is carrying her around like a little doll under her front legs. It's so cute.
(Yes, the washing machine was going non-stop - actually ran out of pegs and had to un-peg some things to let them just hang on one peg). Luckily it was a glorious windy day yesterday and everything dried really well. Love Chris

I can see us having her a few times too Shirley!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our last dog Bella was actually Amy's - but we ended up keeping her here with us. I know it won't happen with Maisie, but come holiday time etc. we will be the 'doggie sitters' he he he! Love Chris

Unbelievably cute. I had never heard of a 'Groodle' before and couldn't imagine what on earth. Love the coloring and wavy hair. Congrats on their 'newest addition'.

Hi Leaha, yes, it's a combination of the two breeds. She is an Apricot soft fawn colour. I don't know whether she will grow out of this or not. We'll have to wait and see what she looks like as she grows up. She doesn't shed like normal dogs, which is good for allergy sufferers. Love Chris
In the states it would be called a Goldendoodle
I think its called a Labradoodle in the Uk

Isn't she gorgeous Sarah? By the way we had a South African Priest at our service this morning. He originated from Cape Town and says Newcastle reminds him of his old home. His name is André Jacobs. I told him I knew a lady from South Africa and he told me that your town was about 4 hours away. It would be like me driving from Sydney to Port Macquarie. Love Chris

Just look at those eyes! She's a Cutie for sure... My sister just informed me tonight, she is leaving in the morning for Alaska. She is 'escorting' a puppy to someone who lives there. The lady is paying my sisters airfare roundtrip, plus $200. for the puppy to fly. My sister is staying a week too!.. I asked her, don't they have puppies in Alaska?-lol

I'll be seeing her on Wednesday. Hope she is better after hurting her leg on Friday. She has been limping all weekend. Amy said this afternoon that she seems to be putting more weight onto her leg, so that's a good sign. I'll give her a huge hug from everyone on here. Love Chris
