I was fortunate enough to receive a bag of pre-cut fabric for a quilt. Does anyone know what this square is called? I would like to see different variations of sewing the squares together.

It is called Attic Window...it was the first quilt I ever made way, way, back when...I still love it! It is so versatile. Usually the side panels of the window are two different shades...one lighter on the bottom and a darker one on the side...creates a "shadow box" effect..

Thanks, I looked at that one but it has a mitered corner and I don't think I have the right pieces for that. It does make a lovely quilt.
Oh, you are right...I should have looked a bit closer...glad that another Cutie had had the right answer..

If you do a search on youtube for Falling Charms, I believe those squares can also make that quilt. Directions are from Missouri Star. Have Fun, what a lucky present you received!! ***4all*

That's it! Thank you so much. Now all I need is to 'get to it'.

How lucky to have all the pieces already cut. That is the thing that puts me off making a quilt.

I have the same problem. I've heard it called 'commitment issues; once you cut the material, you can't go back. lol

Another layout of the same square is called Patience Corner. I'm excited to get started.
