Candy cane pot. One design from Urban Threads plus one scrap of felt and a gravy granules tub. 30 minutes from start to mantlepiece!

Cross stich cushion. The centrepiece is hand worked cross stitch which I thought would be better used than simply framed. I found it remarkably tricky to stitch the Aida fabric to the thinner cotton but I quite like the finished product.

Reversible Bag. This is Katulle's mask design. The left of the picture is stitched on purple in the multicolour version and the right is stitched in variegated thread on a raspberry colour. I like the purple version best, but my neice can chose to use it

Make do and mend for Christmas. My sister is famous for her mending skills so this new design from Urban Threads came at the right time to make her a Christmas present. The dusky purple fabric is cotton velvet.

Martine's holly leaf again! I thought I would try to fit some leaves around the neckline of this old tee-shirt. I'm quite pleased with the result but I hope the dark blobs of spray adhesive will wash out!

Useful greetings card. I made this design up as a coaster and attached it to the card. When the birthday is over the recipient will have the coaster to use. I think I need to trim a bit of the card as the coaster isn't in the middle!

Peas on Earth! This is a test stitch of the design I was asking for peas for the other week. Jan (hightechgrammy) kindly digitised it for me. (Huge thanks to her) Don't look too closely at the quilting - the lines are really askew. I must try harder....
