When embroidering a cross stitch design(or redwork)is the thread used a different weight? When I do mine it just seems to disappear in the fabric and I find I need to go over design 2-3 times for it to be seen.Of course sometimes this just tears my fabric

Can't recall who was asking about where to find the emery sand, (this allows you to sharpen your needles w/0 spending money for new ones. I found it.Even has the pattern for the strawberry pillow.
