Well everyone it is now the shortest day of the year - the day the Secret Santa Gifts were timed to arrive. Now I did ask everyone to post a picture of the gift they received "in a thread I would start after 21st December". As some people took that as the signal to begin ripping wrapping apart, I suppose I should invite pictures to appear here. I know it is a bit early and many of you have the willpower to wait for three more days, but it is obvious that not everyone can!

well for me it was a good thing that I did open it as I will use it for the holidays as since this is my first time I didn't know that I should wait till the 25th. this was I can give it the attention that it sew deserves as on the 25th I will very busy as I am sure we all will be.well I have done it now! I have opened my Secret Santa Gift & I have to say I love it, it is reversable too! The card is just sew thoughtful in it she says:she lives in fruit country & this fabric represents that quite well & then she goes on to say "it has been a joy to make this gift for you" isn't that lovely! I am truly blessed & I want her to know that this is something I will be wearing on Sunday when we have one of our Christmas doo's & then again Christmas Day & then again...........well you get the idea! OK I gave in to temptation. But it was the weight of the box that really made me cave in. It is a lovely carving board, really too pretty to use as such so I think I will just let it sit on my counter for decoration for the time being. Thank you Secret Santa for such a marvelous gift.

Thankyou SS so very much for this super cushion. Please know that I love it very much and it will be on display every Christmas plus.....Christmas in July. You have made me very happy.
What I haven't told my Cutie family is that for the last month my Mother has been gravely ill and I have tried to keep being cheerful but it has been very hard as those who have loved ones ill at this time would know. Mum opened the parcel for me and my, not so professional photographer, hubby took the photos. I have Mum at her home for a few hours from hospital for Christmas lunch. Thankyou again my SS and Love to all the SS and Sue and Merry Christmas Peace on Earth .

Was able to get to a computer so moved this from the older post. Received my SS gift some time ago, however, am off to spend the holiday with my grandsons so it's necessary to post early. The beautifully executed angels are wonderful and I will cherish them as Christmas ornaments forever. Thank you so very much for an excellent Christmas gift.

It is finally Chirstmas here in Florida, USA - well, about 30 minutes ago. The turkery is on slow cook in the oven, and I have baked the pecan pie, made the chocolate hershey pie, done a few things for tomorrow when the family comes in, and am having some quiet time here just for me. I want to give a special thank you for what Sue has done and organized so well. And to also thank my SS for the lovely mug rugs. I think I know just where they will be used. I often sit at my computer that sits on my old roll top desk, and sit my drink on the pull out shelf - now I will not worry about messing up the finish. Thank you SS you did a great job, and something very useful for me. The angel will be put with my collection in my sewing room.

How do I love thee. Let me count the ways... I love the way you glisten when you dance in the sunrays. When I think of the hours of intricate work my SS has put into the delicate stitching, I love you even more. My beaded angel hangs in my workroom and glistens with the light from the sun. I was late opening my present as we do our family Christmas in the evening. I got a wonderful snowman and pincushion from my Secret Santa. She must have read my mind on what I needed. My SS made this table runner with tassels at either end , double sided so you can flip it over to reveal another design .The camera seems to have a problem getting the colours right ,even though I waited till it was a sunny morning taking the photo with the flash & lights on over the table .The actual colour is a light to mid grey not blue.Thank you SS it looks good on the table.

What a beautiful table you have to display your gift on. If I received something like that, I'd need to clear a space :) That's a little different having a 2 sided tablerunner. I never seem to make mine in 10 minutes like the site suggests, either, LOL.

Apologies for not posting sooner, life has been very busy. Thank you very much to my SS who has created for me a beautiful cushion cover with sea side designs. My picture does not do her work justice as it is just superb and she has used ecru coloured linen for the background. Thanks you again to my French SS for your great work and to Sue for her excellent organisation on getting me to do some embroidery so I could take part

I am remis in not posting sooner...we've been traveling and have just gotten home...I received an adorable Christmas Clothes Lines wallhanging...although it could also be used as a tablerunner as well...love dual duty item. I think the designs might be from Embroidery Library...Thank you Secret Santa....

Happy New Year to all the Cuties! I received a beautiful bag that is reversible; pockets on both sides as well as a lovely embroidered design on the major pocket on each side. I love bags...my kids call me the bag lady! Anyway, I hope the pictures are OK as I have had some camera problems latel. A heartfelt "thanks" to my SS. I will use this gift often and think of you when I do.

I think it would be good to put up pics of those others you may have pics of now, Sue. That way at least the makers can see a little bit of feedback on the items they've made. The intended recipients don't need to be named, but maybe a country they went to if it doesn't make them too obvious. There may be good reasons for their lack of communication -we never know what's going on in the lives of others.

Sue I finally ventured out and got new batteries for the camera and here is a photo of the wonderfull 6foot square fleece throw in powder blue that my Secret Santa sent me,

Good luck and I hope you package arrives very soon!!Here in the states we have a real issues with mail going to and coming from TX or at least certain parts. My postmaster has me put delivery cinfirmation and everything I send that way so they can trace where it gets hung up.

Thank you SS for your beautiful gift. We all at home loved it. Even my postmaster waits for me to open packet to see gifts I receive from SS. I am disappointed because I could not send my gift to my SS. My machine is not working it gives a message"RAISE THE PRESSER FOOT AND NEEDLE BAR AND POWER ON". I cannot use the machine and the technician has to come from Bombay.

thank you very much SS sorry I cut the side of my finger off right after I recieved you gift so I am not suppose to be on the computer due to getting infection again For some reason they say it is a dirt key boards that will do that. but any way I love my wall hanging I have never thought of doing fsl on a wall hanging but it came out awesome so I am going to do fsl letters and put my grandsons name on it to make it stand out more. When the Dr. says I can sew again hopeful soon craft fairs are starting up and I am not ready. Again I love it and Thank You
